Is there any way of telling after you have killed doppleganger that is was completed in under the 50 seconds for the bonus (i missed the cut screen),
it seemed about 20 to 30 seconds for me to kill him.

No, I don't think there is. Unless you want to try it again anyways.

Mu husband and I ascended tonight. Both of us killed our dopplegangers in under 50 sec. We didn't skip the cut scene and didn't see anything indicating we got the bonus. I wish there was some indication to let you know.

didn't there used to be a timer? I distinctly remember that it took me 17 seconds to kill my dopplegange...I can only imagine that the game time it..cuz I sure as hell am too lazy

There is a timer but we were so focused on killing our doppelgangers that we didn't look at it to see where it was when the doppelganger died. We do know we killed ours in very short time (it had to be less that the 50 seconds). Mine died before my balthazar's aura recharged.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you get an additional 1000xp if you kill your doppleganger in under 50s? I know when I completed this mission, I got 2 seperate XP messages. One for the +50,000xp and another for +1,000xp.

It looked to me like every time you kill it within 50 seconds you'll get an item too...

We never saw any message about any XP, either 50,000 or 1,000.

I have another character that is going to try to ascend soon. I'll pay more attention when she does.

i think i remember seeing the sword going through the shield and the 50k XP underneath it when i completed the mission. the cutscene should be after that XP splash screen. i never tried the bonus or knew about it, so I might have overlooked it.

i could be wrong about the XP screen tho.

My other character just ascended. I saw that it does say +50,000 XP. I killed my doppleganger in under 50 seconds, but no +1000 XP appeared. A +100 XP showed up, but I assumed that was just the XP for killing the doppleganger. I did get an item.
